Learning Log 1-INFOSEC

New term, same school, new classmates, but there is one thing that will always stay the same. And that is making learning log. 

 In INFOSEC class we discussed mainly some basic security concepts etc..

we also tackled a Case which requires us to be keen and test our critical thinking skill and provide some kind of security and maintenance to prevent a future problem.

15- The most interesting place that I want to visit

We all dream of being in our favorite place, it's either beside your girlfriend or a place =D For me, I always dream going to Greece, I mean there's so much to learn from that country, it's historical places and trying to prove if the myths.Greece is the place where wonderful experiences never end. There is always more to explore, to discover, to see, to taste, to feel. Expand your senses in a place where the elements of nature offer countless possibilities. Can you recall the thrilling emotion of your first time here? Well, we can assure you that it never fades.

 Perfect climate conditions allow every visitor to enjoy every season across the country. Not too hot but not too cold, Greece delivers the ideal climate that offers everyone the opportunity to enjoy memorable holidays with a wide range of activities.

Overall, being in Greece can be the most exciting experience that can happen. I may go there probably next year. =D 

14-Making A blog

I really don't know where to start when making a blog. In fact, you can just write anything on it and publish then tudaahh it's already a blog. I don't know why I am so pressured to it.

Making a blog is an advantage for me, I always say things on my mind, opinions to be exact and I don't know where to share them. But thanks to blog, I can now post anything that I wanted to share to anyone. Blogging is very easy and convenient. You just have to say anything that might get your audience interested and wait for their reactions(comments) to see what you could have done to make it better.

You can learn many things to other bloggers just by reading their blog. You can teach someone how to do this and that. Blogging is very importan
t to a person who can share so much. Thank You!

13-Playing Video Games

I don't think that I would live a life without video games, it's just part of my life, it what keeps me motivated and inspired. Video games doesn't always renders us from being a lazy. Video games had helped me improved my vocabulary skills, and pronunciations. It's not always a bad thing to play video games.

I don't have a favorite game because I find every game that I play very interesting and thus making me more addicted to it. Although there is one game that I am addicted. It's called League of Legends, I don't know why I'm addicted to it but it helps me relieve stress and pressures from school. I just love playing games, I think it's in my blood, I think that I was born to play games. :D No, just kidding but playing games is beneficiary to me. According to research persons who are addicted to playing video games are a better problem solver than average people and also they react fast to everything. It also says that a person who plays a lot of video games can tract 6-8 moving object at the same time while a average person can tract 3-5 only.

Playing Video Games has it's own advantages and disadvantages but it's up to the person whether that he/she would be affected by it. Thank you and enjoy gaming!

12-Being A College Student

 I am a 17 years old student studying Computer Science in Asia Pacific College. To give you a feel about how being a college feels like then let me give explain it to you.

At first I really don't think that college would be this kind of thing. When I was in High School I always thought that being a college student is boring and would be a waste of time. But I was wrong. It was the best experience in my life so far. Although I have so much to finish as I am writing this. Hahaha but seriously I do.

We may not get to our dream school, we try to adjust to new environments. It's not always the school that can improve you to be better, it will always be us. It doesn't matter if you study in a good school, what matters is what will happen next after you graduate school. So don't try complain if you don't pass your dream school.

In my experience as a college student, we always had a heavy workload of assignments, projects and etc. I can't even remember if a day has passed that I am not doing anything. But this can be fixed if you try to finish everything as soon as possible. Remember it is not always a bad thing to have a low grade in your midterm grade, what matters is your finals. Always do your best in Finals because it can change your grade dramatically.

Now I already give you a tip of what to do in college. Hope this helps you!

11 -My Childhood Experiences

When I was still young, a stress-free and a jolly kid. I always dreamed of things that will make myself look cool for example, being a soldier. Every kid wants to be a soldier, why? because we think that holding a gun, wearing a full combat armor from head to toe can look very cool to others. Another one is being a pilot, this is my most favorite dream when I was a kid. I've always dreamed of flying in the clouds with birds beside me, funny isn't it? but that's me. I enjoy almost ever

y simple things that will make me happy. I don't care if that is showering under the rain with my friends or playing traditional Filipino games like, luksong baka and tagu-taguan and etc. I just enjoy everything back then without worrying about something.

Today, I realized that being a soldier isn't good today the funds that they are given are being corrupted by the government. Being a pilot is also hard because in order to be a pilot you need to be financially ready in college because they might require you to rent a actual plane that cost hundreds of thousands of pesos. Yeah this is true, according to my friends who are actually a student in the said field.

I always think that if I could only rewind things and make me a kid again, I would be so happy. I'm not saying that I am giving up being a college student but it would be amazing if I were a kid again, a kid without projects everyday, or a quiz tomorrow, a kid without worrying anything. That's amazing isn't it? well that's life that's why I always try to cope with everything. Thank you!

10-SoCSIT Week - A Game of Champions

It was the SoCSIT week, the most awaited event by the students. Many students cheered for their fellow blockmates in the court. They held different sports competition like the Basketball, Volleyball and Table Tennis and different activities.

In my experience, I enjoyed every game that I joined. I joined the Basketball, Volleyball and the Gaming Genesis event the League of Legends Tournament. To start this. Let's talk about the Basketball. I don't know my teammates that well because I was only pulled by the other block because they think that I would be a great addition to their team. But in the process I grew very fond of them and to think that they were also my blockmates because they share the same personalities as I do. In our first game, we faced second year students. At first we think that were screwed because they are much more experience than us but we managed to beat them in a very close game, I can't remember if it's 2 or 3 point difference only but it was a good game. Then after that our next game is the defending champions but that didn't threaten us, we manage to put a good fight against them, although we lost, we still put a smile on our face after the game.

 In Volleyball, I still get pulled by the same block, I know that I will do well in Volleyball because I am an varsity player when I was in High School but the problem is my teammates, some of my teammates don't really know how to play although some are also players. But that's no excuse we still do everything that we can do and finish as the first runner up.

SoCSIT week really  was fun and interesting. I met new friends and faced different years. Overall it was a great time for me and my friends, we share the same laugh together in good times and the bad. I'm still hoping that there would be more events as exciting as that. Thank you!
