8-Anti-Smoking Campaign

According to a research, smoking is responsible for several diseases, such as cancer, long-term (chronic) respiratory diseases, and heart diseases, as well as premature death. Over 480,000 people in the USA and 100,000 in the UK die because of smoking each year. According the US CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention), $92 billion are lost each year from lost productivity resulting from smoking-related deaths.

I just don't get why most people tend to like or be addicted to it. I mean, what benefits can you get from using it? Lung cancer probably, and to annoy people who don't smoke.

Well to be honest, my dad is a chain smoker and all of my siblings are against it because we all know what it can do to our body. So we try to persuade him not to smoke but instead, he just just minimize his use to 1 stick per day, I think it's a fair deal but we would be glad if he stopped completely.

I discourage you all to stop or not to try smoking because it's completely useless. All it can bring to you is life threatening sicknesses. As much as possible stick to simple ways to relieve stress like doing outdoor activities. This does not only help our body become immune to diseases but also renders us from smoking.
